#R2BC Week 2

This past week has been fantastic for me, I'm really enjoying having somewhere to write my favourite things of the week. Reasons to be cheerful is so important - good week or bad we need to hold onto the things that make us smile!

1. I have made some new friends! I love this. Since we moved to Clevedon 4 years ago, I have felt rather lonely and for various reasons it was hard to make new friends in the area, I had pretty much written off making new friends once I turned 30 but it seems 30 is the new 16 when it comes to you ability to make new friends. On top of that I'm seeing 'old' friends more frequently so my social butterfly wings may well be coming out of retirement.

2. I've started a new online course this week. It's a bit of a scary one as it requires much more brain power than the last one but I'm loving the buzz of studying again. Fingers crossed these short courses are leading me to bigger things in time to come.

3.I've got the reading bug back! I love reading but for a couple of years I really struggled to get the time and concentration to settle down with a book but just lately I have been whizzing through them! I started a GoodReads challenge for 2013 and as I love a challenge I have got my head in a book much more. I had forgotten how nice it is to get lost in a good story and leave all your worries behind. I'm going to start writing book reviews/ recommendations here too so if anyone has a book they'd like to share leave a comment so I can check it out :)
